Softball Recap: Riverside Takes a Loss

Saturday just wasn't the day for Riverside's offense. They came up short against the Coeur d'Alene Vikings on Saturday, falling 13-0. The Rams just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. Coeur d'Alene has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverside will head out to challenge Newport at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Coeur d'Alene, they will venture away from home to square off against Moscow at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coeur d'Alene's pitchers better be ready for this one: Moscow has averaged an impressive 9.4 runs per game this season.
