La Porte has gone 7-1 against Ball recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The La Porte Bulldogs will head out on the road to challenge the Ball Tornadoes at 5:30 p.m. La Porte's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Ball's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Klarisa Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs while going 1-for-3. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addison Hopkins, who scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in runs. Laila Vasquez also deserves some recognition as she got her first hit of the season.

Ball kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Ball's record is now 3-12. As for La Porte, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

Ball's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: La Porte hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .329.
