Dock Mennonite and Northeast Bradford squared off in some playoff action  on Thursday, but Dock Mennonite had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of  4-3. The Pioneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
 Dana Delamater put in work no matter where she played. She  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with one  triple, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Addison Landis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.  Avery Kutzner also deserves some recognition as  she  snagged her first  stolen base of the season.
Dock Mennonite's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Northeast Bradford, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record  this season.
 Dock Mennonite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northeast Bradford, they will square off against Claysburg-Kimmel on Monday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their  28th straight  win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
