Volleyball Recap: Westfield Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Hamilton Southeastern

Westfield faced Hamilton Southeastern in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Monday. The Shamrocks blew past the Royals 3-0. The Shamrocks haven't had any issues with the Royals recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-21.

Westfield had a senior duo take command as Evan Huhn had 16 assists and seven digs and Graham Weddige had 16 assists and four digs. Weddige has been hot, having posted 16 or more assists the last five times he's played. Zach Mueller also deserves some recognition as he had his first kill of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Hamilton Southeastern lost, don't look at Sean Smart. Despite the final result, he had 12 digs and two aces.
