Football Recap: Jerome Takes a Loss

Jerome lost against Minico back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers were outmatched by the Spartans and fell 58-21. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho football rankings (they are ranked 85th, while the Spartans are ranked 18th).

Jerome is on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Minico, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jerome will venture away from home to square off against Homedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Minico, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Burley at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th.
