Softball Recap: Mukwonago Comes Up Short

Mukwonago couldn't beat Oak Creek on Friday even though they stacked five runs on them in the third inning. The Indians came up short against the Knights, falling 14-5. The Indians' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Paeton DeGroot was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

Mukwonago's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Oak Creek, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-3.

Looking ahead, Mukwonago will head out on the road to square off against Loyola Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Oak Creek has already played their next game (against Kimberly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
