Basketball Recap: Glenns Ferry Skates Past Hagerman with Ease

Glenns Ferry won the last time they faced Hagerman and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Glenns Ferry Pilots took their matchup with ease, bagging a 59-21 victory over the Hagerman Pirates. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Pilots had established a 24 point advantage.

Leading Glenns Ferry to victory were Zeidy Reynaga and Sahira Arevalo. Reynaga went 7 of 11 on her way to 22 points in addition to five boards and three steals, while Arevalo went 7 for 12 on her way to 19 points in addition to seven boards and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Truesdale, who posted five points and 12 rebounds.

Hagerman lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Allison Asher, who had four points and seven boards. Another player making a difference was Saree Hillstead, who put up six points.

Glenns Ferry's record is now 6-3. As for Hagerman, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Glenns Ferry didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 62-31 defeat against Valley on the 13th. As for Hagerman, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 37-27 win against Cascade on the 12th.
