Preview: St. Henry Crusaders vs. Bluegrass United Bluehawks
The St. Henry Crusaders will be home for the holidays to greet the Bluegrass United Bluehawks at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
St. Henry's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They fell to Scott 61-57. While losing is never fun, St. Henry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 223rd, while Scott is ranked 73rd).
Bluegrass United has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 73-65 to Louisville Saints HomeSchool on Friday.
St. Henry's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-5. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.2 points per game. As for Bluegrass United, their defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 9-5.
