Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Bodine

Bodine had won three straight games and Kiair Ancrum-Thomas did his part to make it four on Tuesday. Bodine came out on top against First Philadelphia Prep by a score of 76-66 thanks in part to Ancrum-Thomas, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and dropped a double-double on 28 points and 14 boards. Those 28 points gave him a new career-high.

The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Delisca, who dropped a triple-double on 11 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists. He has become a key player for Bodine: the team is undefeated when he posts at least ten assists, but 3-4 otherwise.

Bodine's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for First Philadelphia Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Bodine will venture away from home to challenge Penn Treaty at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for First Philadelphia Prep, they will host Franklin Towne at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Franklin Towne is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.5 points per game this season.
