Volleyball Recap: Jackson Center Takes a Loss

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Saturday. Jackson Center fell 2-0 to West Liberty-Salem. Jackson Center was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as West Liberty-Salem apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Tatum Reichert paced Jackson Center's offense, picking up four kills. Reichert got some help from Laynee Shields and her five assists.

Jackson Center has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for West Liberty-Salem, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Jackson Center has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Graham Local on the 27th. As for West Liberty-Salem, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Fairbanks on the 30th.
