Soccer Game Preview: Pavilion vs. Perry

The Pavilion Golden Gophers are taking a road trip to face off against the Perry Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pavilion's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for nine straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

On Wednesday, Pavilion didn't have quite enough to beat Letchworth and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for Perry's offense. They lost 5-0 to Keshequa on Wednesday.

Pavilion's loss dropped their record down to 1-8-1. As for Perry, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-8.

Pavilion might still be hurting after the 4-0 loss they got from Perry in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Golden Gophers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
