Softball Recap: Postville Comes Up Short

Postville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 22nd straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-3 to the South Winneshiek Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 on Wednesday.

Postville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for South Winneshiek, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-7.

Coming up, Postville will head out to challenge West Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for South Winneshiek, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 6-5 victory against Nashua-Plainfield on the 12th.
