Carroll County waltzed into their game on Tuesday with 16 straight wins... but they left with 17. They never let the Radford Bobcats get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cavaliers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Carroll County pushed their record up to 18-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Radford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-11-1 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Carroll County is set to square off against their familiar foe Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 1.8, the Cougars 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Radford will challenge rival Floyd County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
