Basketball Game Preview: Jennings County Panthers vs. North Central Panthers

The Jennings County Panthers will head out to face off against the North Central Panthers at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Jennings County is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

On Thursday, everything went Jennings County's way against Columbus East as Jennings County made off with a 63-42 victory. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 48th, while the Olympians are ranked 327th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, North Central had to suffer through a 76-49 loss at the hands of Lawrence Central. The loss continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Jennings County's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.0 points per game. As for North Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-16.
