Soccer Game Preview: Franklin vs. Bel Air

The Franklin Cougars are taking a road trip to challenge the Bel Air Highlanders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Franklin saw some tournament action on Saturday. They lost 5-1 to Hanks. Franklin have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Bel Air kept a clean sheet against Americas on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over the Trail Blazers. Fans of Bel Air have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 3+ goals.

They hit Americas with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Alan Franco (2), Diego Medina-Robles (2), Isaac Aguilar, and Dilan Amezcua Cazares.

Bel Air's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Franklin, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Franklin couldn't quite get it done against Bel Air when the teams last played back in January of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
