Shiloh Christian came tearing into Friday's contest with eight straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Alma Airedales as they made off with a 13-2 victory. Considering the Saints have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Shiloh Christian pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.4 runs over those games. As for Alma, they moved to 9-4 with that loss, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Shiloh Christian will square off against Gentry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alma, they will take on Russellville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cyclones' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Airedales' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
