Volleyball Game Preview: Merrimack Tomahawks vs. Hollis-Brookline Cavaliers

Merrimack hasn't had much luck against Hollis-Brookline recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Tomahawks will take on the Cavaliers at 6:15 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Merrimack managed to slip by Nashua North the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tomahawks came up short against the Titans on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Hollis-Brookline came up short against Alvirne on Monday and fell 3-1.

Merrimack's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Hollis-Brookline, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-8.

Merrimack came out on top in a nail-biter against Hollis-Brookline in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tomahawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
