Soccer Recap: Varela Comes Up Short

After soaring to seven goals the game before, Varela was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They lost 3-0 to the Ferguson Falcons. The contest was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Vipers it sure didn't stay that way.

Varela's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Ferguson, they pushed their record up to 12-4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Varela will take on Gulliver Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ferguson, they will face off against Mourning at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
