Softball Game Preview: Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles vs. Lennox Academy Panthers

The Animo Leadership Aztec Eagles will venture away from home to challenge the Lennox Academy Panthers at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Animo Leadership has given up an average of 11.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Animo Leadership couldn't beat Compton Early College on Thursday even though they stacked five runs on them in the second inning. The Aztec Eagles took a 13-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rising Phoenix. The Aztec Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Lennox Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 15-10 to Brentwood School.

Emily Estrada and Michel Estrada stepped up to the plate in a big way. Emily got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run, while Michel went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Animo Leadership's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lennox Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-7.

Animo Leadership might still be hurting after the 18-1 loss they got from Lennox Academy when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can the Aztec Eagles avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
