Having just played yesterday, the Twiggs County Cobras will head out on the road to face off against the Georgia Military College Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Twiggs County and 34 for Georgia Military College dating back to last season.
Twiggs County came up into this matchup off a tough 24-point loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Tattnall Square Academy by a score of 57-55 on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Cobras can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 535th, while the Trojans are ranked 175th).

Twiggs County might have lost, but man, Daniel Pitts was a machine: he posted 30 points. That's the most points Pitts has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Kamauree Butler, who had seven points.
