Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Mount Pleasant's Fourth in Last Five Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Albemarle, Mount Pleasant was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the North Stanly Comets by a score of 25-18. This was payback for the Tigers, who suffered a 44-30 loss the last time these two teams met.

Mount Pleasant has also been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for North Stanly, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-7.

The future could be bright for both Mount Pleasant and North Stanly: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Mount Pleasant will look to extend West Rowan's 12-game losing streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, North Stanly will try to hand Anson their fourth-straight loss when the two meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
