Volleyball Recap: Carbon Comes Up Short

Carbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Alta Hawks.

Natalie Cartwright paced Carbon's offense, picking up seven kills. Cartwright got some help from Emma Dart and her ten assists.

Carbon's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Alta, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-9 record this season.

Carbon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hillcrest on the 20th. As for Alta, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-1 victory against Clearfield on the 20th.
