Sky View had lost three straight at home, but on Monday they dropped their record down to 5-14 to make it four. They lost 7-0 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riverhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 on Saturday.

As for Ridgeline, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

For Ridgeline's part, the result came thanks to Sam Swan's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up ten Ks. Swan has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Ripken Jensen was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Sky View will head out on the road to challenge Mountain Crest at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bobcats are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ridgeline, they will square off against Grantsville at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
