Basketball Recap: Custer County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Custer County had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 32.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Sidney Eagles as they made off with a 50-24 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-27 back in January.

Custer County's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points over those games. As for Sidney, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-10.

Looking ahead, Custer County will head out on the road to challenge Fergus at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sidney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
