The Rocky Mount Gryphons came into Monday's matchup having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against Franklinton by a score of 65-56 on Monday. The victory was just what Rocky Mount needed coming off of a 88-54 loss in their prior matchup.

Leading Rocky Mount to victory were Emanauel Battle and Anthony Jones. Battle scored 18 points along with six rebounds, while Jones dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Jones has scored at least a third of Rocky Mount's points. Antavious Murphy was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
