Recap: Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers vs. Lockwood Tigers
The Jefferson Independent Day Cavaliers were the 66-59 winner over the Lockwood Tigers when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Jefferson Independent Day was beaten by Lockwood 59-19 on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Jefferson Independent Day has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Jefferson Independent Day saw an underclassman step up: Jaxx Wisdom scored five points.
Jefferson Independent Day has fallen quite a ways from their 21-7 record last season and are now at 2-6. As for Lockwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-1.
Jefferson Independent Day won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Jasper at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Lockwood, they will head out on the road to face off against Greenfield at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
