Volleyball Recap: Maricopa Comes Up Short

Maricopa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Verrado Vipers. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Vipers when the teams met back in September of 2023, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Maricopa's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Verrado, the win snapped their losing streak at four matches and leaves them with a 15-13 record.

Maricopa didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Centennial on the 11th. As for Verrado, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Boulder Creek on the 11th.
