Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Lamphere

Lamphere entered their tilt with Cousino on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They skirted past the Patriots 4-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 on Wednesday.

Jacob Lang tossed a big game, tossing 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits.

At the plate, Lamphere saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxson Riddle, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI. Those three hits gave Riddle a new career-high.

Lamphere's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Cousino, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-8.

Lamphere will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Patriots: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
