Softball Recap: Pilgrim Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Pilgrim can now relate to. They fell just short of the Chariho Chargers by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Patriots haven't had much luck with the Chargers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Pilgrim saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lia Wasilewski, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Pilgrim's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Chariho, their win was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-0.

As of now, neither Pilgrim nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
