Softball Recap: Kewaunee Comes Up Short

Kewaunee was the 2-1 winner over Peshtigo when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Storm fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kewaunee's loss dropped their record down to 7-8. As for Peshtigo, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.

Looking ahead, Kewaunee is taking a road trip to face off against Luxemburg-Casco at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 1.6 runs per game this season, so the Storm's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Peshtigo, they will host Oconto at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
