After soaring to 34 points the game before, San Augustine were a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were outmatched by Garrison on the road and fell 58-10. San Augustine was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-10.
Meanwhile, two weeks ago just wasn't the day for Grapeland's offense. They were dealt a 58-0 defeat at the hands of Garrison. Grapeland just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
San Augustine has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Grapeland, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 2-7.
