Soccer Recap: Lower Dauphin Extends Home Winning Streak to Four

Lower Dauphin kept a clean sheet against Central Dauphin East on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 2-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Lower Dauphin's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 89th, while Central Dauphin East are ranked 390th).

Carson Graver and Brady Heffleger scored both of Lower Dauphin's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Lower Dauphin pushed their record up to 10-3-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matches. As for Central Dauphin East, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-9-3 record this season.
