Softball Recap: Make It Five in a Row for Clay

Clay had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Napoleon on Wednesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Wildcats with a sharp 16-6 win. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Clay's victory bumped their record up to 14-3. As for Napoleon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Clay is set to take on their familiar foe Springfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Napoleon will square off against rival Southview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
