Softball Game Preview: Navarro Panthers vs. Bandera BULLDOGS

The Navarro Panthers will square off against the Bandera BULLDOGS at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Navarro and 16 for Bandera.

On Tuesday, Navarro came up short against Canyon Lake and fell 10-5.

Meanwhile, Bandera fell victim to Wimberley and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 15-0 to the Texans.

Bandera saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cerissa Fernandez, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Navarro's loss dropped their record down to 2-14-1. As for Bandera, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-18.

Everything went Navarro's way against Bandera in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Navarro made off with a 17-7 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
