Softball Game Preview: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Chatsworth Chancellors

The Cleveland Cavaliers will square off against the Chatsworth Chancellors at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 14 consecutive losses for Cleveland and four for Chatsworth.

Cleveland came up short against El Camino Real on Friday, falling 9-2.

Olivia Nutt spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Cleveland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rumor O'Fallon, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI and one double.

Meanwhile, Chatsworth lost 10-1 to Taft on Wednesday.

Cleveland's defeat dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Chatsworth, their loss dropped their record down to 5-16.
