Volleyball Recap: Piper Moyer and Kerrigan Danowski Secure Win for Adams-Friendship

Adams-Friendship hadn't done well against Wautoma recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Green Devils came out on top against the Hornets by a score of 2-0. The win was familiar territory for the Green Devils, who have now won three contests in a row.

Adams-Friendship easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-12.

Leading Adams-Friendship to victory were Kerrigan Danowski and Piper Moyer. Danowski had 12 digs and two assists, while Moyer had ten kills, six aces, and three digs. Moyer is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Adams-Friendship's record is now 20-10. As for Wautoma, their loss dropped their record down to 18-15.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Adams-Friendship will face off against Westfield Area at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Green Devils are facing the Pioneers at the right time seeing as the Pioneers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wautoma, they will take on Pardeeville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
