Mt. Carmel kept a clean sheet against San Marcos on Tuesday. They came out on top against the San Marcos Knights by a score of 2-0. The result kept the Sundevils happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 10th.

Devin Aaujo was the driving force of Mt. Carmel's attack as he scored both of Mt. Carmel's goals, bringing his season total up to four goals.

Mt. Carmel has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-7-4 record this season. As for San Marcos, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 1-1-3 and their overall record down to 2-6-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Carmel has already played their next matchup (against Fallbrook), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. San Marcos will challenge Valley Center on Thursday. San Marcos' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
