Volleyball Recap: Westminster Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Miami Country Day

Westminster Academy had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to the Miami Country Day Spartans. The Lions were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in August of 2021.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-11.

Miami Country Day has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westminster Academy will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Benjamin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Miami Country Day, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Westwood Christian at 7:30 p.m. on the 26th.
