Basketball Recap: Idaho City Takes a Loss

Idaho City lost against Victory Charter back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Idaho City Wildcats lost to the Victory Charter Vipers on the road by a 37-20 margin.

Victory Charter found their leader in freshman Leah Ray, who posted 21 points along with seven steals and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Ray a new career-high in steals. Keanna Gibbs was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to six assists and six boards.

Idaho City has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season. As for Victory Charter, they pushed their record up to 9-11 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Idaho City nor Victory Charter have any future games scheduled.
