After a string of four wins, Philo's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against the Morgan Raiders, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in August.

While Philo was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Morgan's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-17, 27-25.

Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Morgan, their victory ended a five-match drought at home and bumped them up to 6-9.

Philo has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Sheridan on the 25th. As for Morgan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against John Glenn on the 25th.
