Softball Game Preview: Junction City Tigers vs. Creswell Bulldogs

The Junction City Tigers will challenge the Creswell Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Junction City will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Junction City is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They came out on top against Marist by a score of 20-17 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Creswell lost 15-5 to Elmira on Tuesday.

Junction City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.2 runs over those games. As for Creswell, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Junction City took their victory against Creswell in their previous matchup back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 11-4 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
