Football Recap: San Juan Hills' Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Chino Hills last Friday, San Juan Hills came back down to earth. The Stallions fell 34-26 to the Rockwall-Heath Hawks on Friday. The loss was the Stallions' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why San Juan Hills lost, don't look at Timmy Herr. Despite the final result, he threw for 340 yards and a pair of TDs, and also punched in one touchdown on the ground. Cooper Chila was Herr's top target, picking up 108 receiving yards and one score.

Prosper Neal went supernova For Rockwall-Heath., rushing for 103 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 166 yards on 14 of 23 attempts. Another player making a difference was Shawn Gary, who picked up 121 receiving yards and one TD.

Having lost for the first time this season, San Juan Hills fell to 3-1. As for Rockwall-Heath, their victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-1.

San Juan Hills didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 38-28 win against Mira Costa on the 19th. As for Rockwall-Heath, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 49-14 victory against Mansfield Legacy on the 18th.
