Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Miramonte). They put the hurt on the Mt. Diablo Red Devils with a sharp 23-0 win on Thursday. The victory was nothing new for the Matadors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Casey Yung and Jonah Imberg were major factors no matter where they played. Throwing, Yung struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile, Imberg tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Yung has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, Yung went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Imberg got on base in three of his five plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That RBI was Imberg's first of the season.
