Football Recap: Chesaning Takes a Loss

Friday just wasn't the day for Chesaning's offense. They were dealt a 54-0 loss at the hands of the Montrose Rams on Friday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rams apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Logan Vogelaar threw for 75 yards on seven of 12 attempts. Law Danek was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards. On the ground, Evan Guymer rushed for 70 yards.

Chesaning dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Montrose, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.

Chesaning wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 58-16 defeat against Ovid-Elsie on the 10th. As for Montrose, they have also already played their next matchup, a 28-14 victory against New Lothrop on the 10th.
