Basketball Preview: St. John's Cadets vs. St. Mary's Ryken Knights        
        
		
             St. John has gone 9-1 against St. Mary's Ryken recently and they'll look to pad the win column further  on Tuesday. The St. John's Cadets are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season. they challenge  the St. Mary's Ryken Knights  at 7:30  p.m. One thing working in St. John's favor is that they have posted at least 55  points  every time they've taken the court this season.
 St. John's is probably headed into the  contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Wasatch Academy just ended the team's  four-game winning streak  on Sunday. They took  a  70-58 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The  match marked the Cadets' lowest-scoring  matchup so far this season.
 Despite the  loss, St. John's had strong showings from  Omari Witherspoon, who  went 5 for 11 en route to 15 points, and  Jymin Veney, who  went 5 for 9 en route to 11 points plus seven  rebounds and two  steals. Witherspoon continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Geremy Clark, who  posted nine points.
 Meanwhile, St. Mary's Ryken came up short against St. Andrew's Episcopal on Saturday and fell  55-47. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, St. John's  fell to 4-1. As for St. Mary's Ryken, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
 Everything went St. John's way against St. Mary's Ryken when the teams last played  back in February, as St. John's made off with  a  64-40 win. Will St. John's repeat their success,  or does  St. Mary's Ryken have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
