With a playoff win on the line, Brookfield Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Central Wisconsin Christian Crusaders a 4-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Brookfield Academy, who have now won seven matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Central Wisconsin Christian with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luke Rogutich, Connor Tracy, Thomas Kearney, and Amaar Pasha.

The victory made it two in a row for Brookfield Academy and bumps their season record up to 10-6-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored seven goals over those two matches. As for Central Wisconsin Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-12-2.
