Basketball Recap: Carver Snags Fifth Victory in Last Six Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hardaway, Carver was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They walked away with a 69-59 victory over the Columbus Blue Devils. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 75-45 back in December of 2024.

Carver has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 10-9 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.7 points per game. As for Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Jordan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Jordan: they have been struggling with six straight losses at home, while Carver has snatched up three consecutive wins on the road. As for Columbus, they will also get right back to it: they'll face off against Spencer at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Spencer has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
