If Riverside was feeling good fresh off their 61-38 takedown of Shelby-Rising City last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Riverside Chargers fell 51-44 to the Ord Chanticleers on Monday. The Chargers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Elijah Pollard continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Ord, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Thompson, who posted seven points.

Riverside now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Ord, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Riverside will head out on the road to square off against Arcadia/Loup City at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ord, they will be playing at home against St. Paul on Friday. Ord is facing St. Paul at the right time seeing as St. Paul is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
