After low-scoring totals in their previous three match, Perry Meridian brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Greenwood Woodmen on Tuesday. The Falcons not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since May 16, 2024 (when they won 11-2).

Caitlin Harris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on five hits.

At the plate, Karsyn Naue and Adriana Chesser did most of the damage at the plate: Naue went 2-for-3 with one home run and one double, while Chesser went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits Chesser has posted since back in May of 2024. Macy Stroud was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Perry Meridian moved to 5-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Greenwood, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Perry Meridian beat Greenwood by a score of 16-3 on Wednesday.
