Volleyball Game Preview: Vandalia Vandals vs. Gillespie Miners

The Vandalia Vandals will challenge the Gillespie Miners at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Vandalia has now lost ten straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 20.

On Tuesday, Vandalia came up short against Southwestern and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Gillespie, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They skirted past Staunton 2-1.

Gillespie had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-22, 25-22.

Gillespie's win bumped their record up to 9-18. As for Vandalia, their loss dropped their record down to 2-25-1.
